A man is due to appear in court after being arrested for the death of a man in Abronhill, Cumbernauld

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of James Ross in Cumbernauld on Monday, 14 February. He is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday, 17 February,2022.

A 15-year-old male youth who was arrested in connection with the incident has been released pending further enquiries.

James was seriously injured during a disturbance in the Abronhill Shopping Centre on Larch Road, Abronhill, around 4.30pm.
