A man has been arrested in connection with drugs offences
Officers from Fife Division, attached to Operation Pinnacle, have arrested a man in Edinburgh following a police operation.
Around 8.15am on Sunday, 28 November, 2021, officers intercepted a man in Edinburgh Bus Station, who was believed to be en route to Fife. Following a search, he was found in possession of more than £14,000 worth of Class A drugs, believed to be heroin and cocaine.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences. He was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 29 November, 2021.
Detective Constable Calum McDougall said: “This again highlights our commitment to clearing our communities of drugs and reducing the harmful impact they have on people.
