Appeal following wilful-fire raising in Drumcavel Road, Muirhead

Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information following a wilful fire-raising in Muirhead.

The incident was reported to police at 8.14pm on Sunday, 31 October, 2021 when a car was on fire on Drumcavel Road.

Detective Constable Katy Goldie, of Lanarkshire CID, said: “Thankfully the fire was safely extinguished and nobody was injured.

“We are appealing to anyone with information about the incident or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact police.

“If you believe you can assist our investigation, call 101 quoting incident number 4442 of 31 October 2021.

"Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
