Woman charged in connection with online extortion offences
A 23-year-old woman from the Aberdeen area has been arrested and charged in connection with online extortion offences.
It follows an investigation by detectives from North East Division's Cyber Enabled Crime Team into incidents reported from the Lothian & Borders area and North Yorkshire in England, which happened in June and September this year respectively.
The woman is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.
