Appeal following report of threatening behaviour in Hamilton
Police in Hamilton are appealing for further witnesses after a man has been arrested and charged in connection with threatening behaviour in the Albert Street area.
The incident took place around 6.20pm on Friday, 17 December. Officers were called to the scene following a report of a man shouting threats at individuals in a parked car, before chasing a man who was passing by and attempted to intervene.
The suspect, a 27-year-old man, was arrested and charged, appearing at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 December.
Officers are asking for any witnesses to the incident, including the man who was chased, to please come forward. You can call police on 101, quoting incident 2833 of 17 December.
