Body recovered from River Clyde in search for missing man in Uddingston

Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man was recovered from the River Clyde near Uddingston, around 2pm on Monday, 17 August 2020.

Family of missing man Robert Kelly, 44, who has been missing since Saturday, 15 August, 2020 have been made aware of the discovery.

Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
