Appeal for information after fire at building site on Hobart Street, Glasgow

Police Scotland is appealing  for information after a fire in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to a building site on Hobart Street at 12.20am on Tuesday 25 August after reports that plant machinery was alight.

A foundation pile driver was damaged by the fire.

Detective Constable Katrina Keogh said :

“There was considerable damage caused to plant machinery but thankfully no was injured.  I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 0096 of 25 August or alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”.
