This area is served by the Banff and Fraserburgh Community Policing Teams which are overseen by Inspectors Megan Heathershaw and Kevin Goldie.

Megan and Kevin lead the teams to address the priorities within the Aberdeenshire Local Police Plan, whilst constantly engaging with, and listening to, the Troup community to allow focus upon local issues.

Policing Team

Banff Community Policing Team covers Banff, MacDuff, and the surrounding villages including Gardenstown, Crovie and Portsoy. They are based at Banff Police Station, 19 High Shore, Banff AB45 1HN.

Fraserburgh Community Policing Team covers Fraserburgh and the surrounding villages of Inverallochy and Cairnbulg areas. They are based at Fraserburgh Police Station 71-73 Finlayson Street, Fraserburgh, AB43 9JQ.
