Area Commander Chief Inspector David Happs is the Area Commander for the north west and is responsible for response policing, performance management and the daily management of personnel. North West Area Command This area stretches from the historic villages of Cramond and South Queensferry in the more rural west side running eastwards to the areas of Corstorphine, Stockbridge and Trinity. Housing throughout is a mix of social and privately owned properties. The area boasts Scotland's busiest airport, two busy shopping centres, the Gyle and Craigleith Retail Park, and also the world renowned Murrayfield Stadium where the national rugby team plays.
