Appeal for information following serious road crash in Perth

Police in Tayside are appealing for information following a serious road crash on the M90, near Bridge of Earn.

The incident happened around 8.35pm on Tuesday, 17 March, 2020, on the southbound carriageway on the Inverkeithing to Perth motorway and involved a red Peugeot 306.

Emergency services attended and a 28-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital where his condition is described as critical.

One lane was closed for around 5 hours to allow a full crash investigation to be carried out.

Inspector Greg Burns, of Tayside Road Policing, said: "A man has sustained serious injuries and we are appealing to anyone who may have any information relating to this crash.

"The M90 is a busy road and I would ask those who may have dashcam footage of the area to get in contact with officers.

"Police Scotland can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 2963 of Tuesday, 17 March, 2020."
