Appeal following assault in Glasgow city centre

Police Scotland is appealing for information after a man was assaulted on Hope Street in Glasgow city centre.

The incident happened around 6.15pm on Wednesday, 11 September on Hope Street near Pure Gym

The 60 year-old victim suffered facial injuries in the incident which required hospital treatment.

Officers are seeking to identify a man, described as being around 20-25-years-old, of slim build with short dark hair. He was wearing a distinctive orange jumper, blue tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

He is believed to have left the area heading south on Hope Street after the incident.
