Appeal after serious road crash on A92, Aberdeenshire

Police in Aberdeenshire are appealing for assistance from the public following a serious road crash on the A92 Montrose to Stonehaven road, yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, 15 October, 2019).

The crash happened around 12:45pm, approximately four miles south of Stonehaven and involved a black Honda Accord motor car and a white Honda CR-V motor car.

As a result of the collision, a 34-year-old woman and two children aged four and six sustained serious injuries and were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where they remain.

A 30-year-old man and a seven-year-old girl sustained minor injury and were discharged from hospital last night.

Constable Matthew Lawson from the Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries into the collision are ongoing and I would urge anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the collision, or who witnessed the collision, and has not already spoken to police to contact us.”
