Drugs Seizure - A74 (M), Johnstone Bridge, Dumfries and Galloway

Drugs, with an estimated street value of eighty thousand pounds, have been seized by officers in Dumfries and Galloway.

Around 8.10 pm last night, Monday, 11 November, 2019, officers stopped a black BMW on the A74 (M), Glasgow to Carlisle Road, near to Junction 16, Johnstonebridge, and on searching found the drugs, believed to be cocaine and cannabis, within.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the find and is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court later today, Tuesday, 12 November 2019.  A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
