Drugs Recovery - Sighthill, Glasgow

Around 12.25pm on Tuesday 12 March 2019, officers searched a flat in Fountainwell Drive, Sighthill, Glasgow and recovered a quantity of drugs – believed to be Cannabis – with an estimated street value of three hundred and eighty six thousand pounds (£386,000).

 

A 37 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a drugs recovery in Sighthill, Glasgow. He is due before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday 13 March 2019.

 

Detective Inspector Steven Elliot of Greater Glasgow Division said: “This substantial recovery shows our commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply.  This is a key priority for police and we will continue to actively target those who seek to supply drugs in our community.

 

“I would encourage anyone to report criminal activity in their area by contacting police through 101, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

 

A full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
