Drugs recovery - Mossend, Bellshill

Around 11.05am on Thursday 14 March 2019, officers from Lanarkshire Division stopped a car on Clydesdale Road, Mossend, Bellshill.  Following a search a quantity of Cannabis Resin with an estimated street value of one hundred and two thousand pounds (£102,000) was recovered.


A 51 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery and is due before Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday 15 March 2019.


A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.


Inspector Keith Campbell of Bellshill Police Office said: “We remain committed to tackling drugs in our local communities and our enforcement activity will continue.
