Man charged with vehicle thefts in Aberdeen

Police Scotland can confirm that a 17 year old man has been charged in relation to alleged vehicle thefts in Aberdeen.
The incidents included the theft of a BMW in Bridge of Don and a Triumph motorbike in Ferryhill in April 2019.
The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Friday 7 June 2019).
Detective Constable Ryan Anderson said: “We would urge all vehicle owners to ensure their vehicles are secured overnight, to lock doors and windows to homes and not to leave ignition keys in close proximity to front doors.
