Eden Festival

Published 11 June 2019

Police Scotland report that in general those attending the Eden Festival at Raehills over the weekend were well behaved. A number of what are described as minor public order and nuisance offences were dealt with by officers on duty over the weekend.

Superintendent Mark Hollis said, "Police worked closely with partners and other emergency services to ensure that the festival was a safe environment for everybody attending. As a result of the policing operation around 53 people were found in possession of illegal drugs and were dealt with accordingly. Three people will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for drugs supply offences. The main drug seized was cannabis and herbal cannabis."
