Delivery driver robbed - Inchinnan

Detectives are continuing their enquiries and appealing for information after a 43 year-old man was robbed in Inchinnan on Saturday 29 June 2019.


Around 9.05pm on Saturday evening, the 43 year-old man was carrying out deliveries in Luckinsford Avenue then Luckinsford Road in Inchinnan, when he was approached by a man who threatened him with a knife and stole a two-figure sum of cash.


The delivery driver was uninjured but badly shaken as a result of the robbery.


The man responsible was wearing a black hooded top, black trousers, gloves and a black scarf.  He was last seen heading through the footpath that leads into Umachan, Erskine.


Detective Constable Alasdair Whitelaw of Paisley Police Office is appealing for information.  He is urging anyone who witnessed this robbery, or has any information that will assist in identifying the suspect to contact Paisley Police Office through 101 quoting reference number 4948 of 29th June.  Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
