Further arrests made in connection with death of Kenny Reilly

A third man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Kenny Reilly in Glasgow last year and a fourth man has been arrested overseas.

Mr Reilly, aged 29, died after an incident in Maryhill Road in Glasgow around 10.20 pm on Monday, 16 April 2018.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged today (Monday, 2 December) and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 3 December, 2019.

Meanwhile, a 39-year-old man has been arrested overseas on a European arrest warrant in connection with the death of Mr Reilly. He has also been arrested in connection with the death of Jamie Campbell in Glasgow in March 2006.

Mr Campbell, aged 47, died after an incident in Essenside Avenue in the Drumchapel area of the city on Saturday, 4 March 2006.

Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Police Scotland also confirmed over the weekend that a 54-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, had been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Kenny Reilly. Both men are also due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 3 December, 2019.
