Appeal for following theft by housebreaking in Buckie

Police in Aberdeenshire are appealing for information following a housebreaking and theft at a farmyard in Buckie.

The incident happened between 5pm on Thursday 28 November and 2pm on Friday 29 November, 2019, at a farm near the Burn of Tynet, off the A98 road.

A number of power tools were stolen along with two bottles of whiskey and specialist farming equipment totalling a five-figure sum.

PC John Bowie, of Buckie community policing, said: “I would urge anyone who has any information relating to this incident or anyone who may have been in the area and noticed anything suspicious to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who is offered any of these items to get contact with officers as soon as possible.

“Anyone with any information can contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 2514 of 29 November, 2019.”
