Drugs with estimated value of £10,000 recovered in Aberdeen

Drugs with an estimated value of £10,650 have been seized from the Rosemount area of Aberdeen.

A 21 year old man has been charged with alleged drugs offences after the recovery on Saturday 10 August and was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Monday 12 August 2019).

Detective Sergeant Jill Anderson said: “This recovery of illegal drugs was made possible thanks to information received from the public.

“Illegal drugs have no place in our local communities and we will continue to act on information received.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or if you wish to remain anonymous, you can speak to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
