Appeal following theft of car in Aberdeen

Officers in Aberdeen are appealing for information following the reported theft and collision of a motor vehicle from the Spa Street area of Aberdeen.

The vehicle involved is a red/burgundy Citroen C3 Picasso motor car, vehicle registration SY13 GNP.

The theft of the vehicle is thought to have occurred sometime between 3.00pm on Wednesday 3 April 2019 and 4.30am on Thursday 4 April 2019 from Spa Street, Aberdeen.

Rosemount Sergeant Stuart Robinson said: “The vehicle was involved in a road traffic collision at the Spa Street/Skene Street junction in Aberdeen city centre at around 4.30am on Thursday morning and two people were seen running away from the scene.

“I am keen to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone entering, driving or exiting the Citreon Picasso late on Wednesday or in the early hours of Thursday. This information could assist us locating those responsible.

“Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference number 0418 of 4 April. To remain anonymous, information can also be given to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
