Drugs valued at £15,000 recovered in Aberdeen

‘Crack’ Cocaine and Heroin with an estimated street value of £15,000 has been recovered following an intelligence led operation in Aberdeen.

Officers carried out search warrants at the Summerfield Terrace and Inverurie Road areas of Aberdeen on Wednesday, 10 October.

As a result a 24 year old woman from the Birmingham area and a 47 year old man from the local area have been charged and are anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Thursday, 11 October.

Detective Sergeant Willie Murdoch said, “We will relentlessly pursue those who choose to involve themselves in the illegal supply of drugs.

“We work closely with forces across the UK, as well as partners and independent agencies like Crimestoppers to target those involved in organised criminal activity.

“We rely on the support of our communities to do this and continue to urge anyone with concerns to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous."
