Police respond to incident involving light aircraft, North Uist

Police Scotland and other emergency services are currently in attendance at an incident involving a light aircraft on North Uist.

Police were informed of the incident at approximately 10:15am this morning (Wednesday 13th June) and remain at the scene responding to the matter.

As a result of the incident, the A867 was closed between Lochmaddy and Clachan Na Luib. It has now reopened.
