Outboard engines stolen - Stranraer

Police officers in Stranraer are appealing for help to trace two hooded males who are responsible for the theft of two outboard engines in the town at around 5am on Friday 29 June 2018. Around that time the two were disturbed stealing the engines from a boat at the rear of a house in Gallowhill Rise in Stranraer. The two were seen to carry the engines to a vehicle parked nearby and then make off. The vehicle is described as being a black coloured Ford Fiesta and was thought to be displaying an 'L' plate.

Constable Alistair Rowan at Stranraer said "this incident appeared to have caused a bit if noise and it might be that it has awoken some neighbours in the area. Anyone who has any information and who can help us in this investigation is asked to call police at Stranraer on the 101 number, quoting reference number PDG 0141810618. The two responsible are only described as being two hooded males."
