Appeal after fire at Dollar Court, Dunfermline

Police in Dunfermline are appealing for witnesses following a fire in Dollar Court.

The fire happened around 8.50pm on Sunday 10th June. Several people were treated at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended and tackled the fire which affected three single-storey sheltered housing units. The fire was extinguished around 9.20pm.

Officers are now asking anyone with information about the fire to please get in contact.

Detective Constable Kris Robertson of Dunfermline CID said: “We are keeping an open mind as to the cause of the blaze and are working with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to establish this.

“We would welcome any information that may assist us with our joint inquiry.

“Anyone with information can contact us via 101 quoting incident number 4171 of 10th June.”
