Cannabis worth more than £250,000 seized in Aberdeen

Cannabis with a street value of more than £250,000 has been recovered during a drug search warrant in Aberdeen.

Officers attended a property in the Langstane Place area of the city yesterday (Tuesday July 3, 2018) and arrested two men aged 24 and 35 in connection with the cultivation. 

The men were subsequently charged and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today (Wednesday July 4).

Detective Inspector Fionnuala McPhail said, "A significant quantity of controlled drugs has thankfully been seized before it reached our communities. I would like to thank the public who provided information which allowed us to target our resources to the right place at the right time.
