Two people charged following recovery of £6000 of cannabis

A 54 year old woman and a 47 year old man have been charged following the recovery of cannabis with an estimated street value of around £6000.

The drugs were recovered on Friday, 19 January, at an address at Cummings Park Circle in Aberdeen following an intelligence led operation.

Detective Constable Kayleigh McLean said: "We are committed to disrupting the illegal supply of drugs to our communities and will continue to work with partners to prevent the misery and harm this criminality can cause.

"We rely on support and information from members of the public and  if you have any information regarding an individual or individuals who may be involved in drugs, please contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous."

It is anticipated that the man and woman will appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today, Monday, 22 January.
