Theft of tools in Annan

Officers are investigating the theft of tools from a car in Annan.

Sometime overnight between Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd January, a silver coloured Vauxhall Insignia car which was parked in Princes Avenue in the town was entered and over £500 worth of electrical tools stolen. The tools, Makita make, include a reciprocating saw, a cordless multi-cutter, a cordless grinder and a bag of various other tools.

Constable Victoria Unwin at Annan said, "We are currently carrying out door to door enquiries in the area.

"We want to hear from anyone who may have been in the Princes Avenue area on Monday night, or early Tuesday morning to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious. Callers can contact us at Annan on the 101 number, quoting PDG 0016830118.
