Driver traced after schoolgirl injured in Tranent

Police in East Lothian have traced the driver of a vehicle involved in a minor collision with a schoolgirl in Tranent.

The incident happened around 4.15pm on Wednesday 17 January on Haddington Road when a 10-year-old girl was crossing the road.

Officers have now traced and spoken to the driver of the vehicle and it has been established that no crime has been committed.

The public are thanked for their assistance with this appeal.
