Appeal after theft from business in Kingussie

Police in Badenoch & Strathspey are appealing for information after a theft from a commercial premises in Kingussie.

Entry was forced to the business on King Street sometime between 5pm on Friday, January 26 and 6.30am on Saturday, January, 27.

A quantity of cash, worth a high three figure sum, was found to have been stolen.

Detective Constable Ross Cooper said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and I would urge anybody who noticed anyone acting suspiciously on King Street in Kingussie or the surrounding area to let us know.

"We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was on Kingussie High Street between 1am and 3am to come forward as you may have details which could help our investigation.
