Appeal after car stolen in Kirkcaldy housebreaking

Police in Fife are appealing for information after a housebreaking in Kirkcaldy.

A house was broken into in Cheviot Road at some point between 9.30pm on Friday 26th January and 8am on Saturday 27th January.

Electronic equipment worth a three figure sum was taken along with a Silver Hyundai Getz car.

Officers are now asking anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area to please get in contact. Similarly, anyone who can help them trace the Silver Hyundai car is asked to get in touch.

Detective Sergeant Craig Fraser of Kirkcaldy CID said: “We are asking anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area of Cheviot Road on Friday night or early Saturday morning to please give us a call or come into Kirkcaldy police station.”
