Published 06 December 2018

A 52 year old man has been charged in relation to alleged culpable and reckless conduct after a number of screws were left on the road in the Moray area.

He has been charged in relation to two incidents which happened on 29 October 2018 in the Anderson Drive area of New Elgin and 3 December 2018 in the Bezak Street area of New Elgin.

DC Rosanagh Davison said: “I would like to thank members of the public who have assisted us with our enquiries. I would also like to thank the ... community for its continued support.

“Putting tacks and screws on the road creates a hazard for other road users and it is fortunate that there have not been serious consequences.”

It is anticipated that the man will appear at Elgin Sheriff Court at a later date.
