Man named following Bridge of Allan fatal collision

Police in Forth Valley can now confirm the identity of a man killed following a road collision in Bridge of Allan.

He was Fraser Ross from Alloa.

The 29-year-old was a pedestrian when he was involved in a collision with a Land Rover Defender in Cornton Road at around 11.10pm on Thursday 27th December.

He sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Inspector Andrew Thomson from the Road Policing Unit in Stirling said: "Our deepest sympathies remain with Fraser's family and our inquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of this incident.

"I would reiterate our appeal for motorists or other members of the public with information that can assist this investigation to contact police immediately."
