Appeal for information following theft, Drummond area Inverness

Police in Inverness are appealing for information to assist enquiries into the theft of bikes from a property in the Drummond area of Inverness.

Between 7am on Wednesday and 8am yesterday (Thursday 24th November), access was gained to an outbuilding on Drummond place and three bikes were removed from storage. All three bikes are described as Trek models, one yellow/silver in colour, one green and one red in colour.

Officers are carrying out door to door enquiries and would appeal to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to make contact via 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Residents are encouraged to consider current security arrangements and ensure all valuables are locked away out of sight. Officers would also encourage bike owners to have their bikes security marked to increase the changes of them being recovered - please contact 101 to arrange.
