Vehicle stolen in Shetland traced

A vehicle that was stolen in Shetland has been traced.

The theft happened overnight between Friday, 13 March, and Saturday, 14 March, 2026 on Brentfield Park.

A white Toyota hybrid C-HR was taken and it was later traced in the Sandwick area of Shetland.

Constable Mirrin Siegel said: “Enquiries into the circumstances around the theft remain ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact us.

“We’d also be keen to hear from anyone with private or dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
