Two more arrests following disorder at the Scottish Cup quarter final match
A further two men have been arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation into disorder at the Scottish Cup quarter final between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday, 8 March, 2026.
A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with offences including breach of the peace, possessing an offensive weapon, and assaulting a police officer.
A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with an assault.
Both men have been released on an undertaking to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.
Detective Chief Inspector David Lamont said: "Extensive enquiries are ongoing to identify and trace those involved in the scenes which took place at the conclusion of the match on Sunday, 8 March.
"A team of officers continue to carry out enquiries and examine a large amount of CCTV images and footage to identify and trace those involved, further arrests will be made."
