Serious assault on Dunkeld Road in Perth

Around 2.45pm on Monday, 30 March, 2026, we were called to a serious assault on Dunkeld Road in Perth.

Emergency services attended and a woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.

Dunkeld Road is closed and the public is advised to avoid the area at this time.

Inspector Stephen Gray said: “We’re aware a number of people have witnessed this incident and will be concerned. I’d like to reassure the public, this is contained and there’s no wider threat.

“Officers will remain in the area while our enquiries continue.

“I’d ask anyone who witnessed what happened or has footage of the incident to contact police.”
