Second man arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Haddington

A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man.

Officers attended a property in Carlyle Gardens in Haddington around 12.40pm on Tuesday, 10 February, 2026.

A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he later died on Wednesday, 18 February.

The 61-year-old man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, 5 March.

A 41-year-old man has previously been arrested and charged in connection with his death. He appeared in court on Wednesday, 25 February.
