Man jailed for 15 years for sexual and violent offences in Aberdeen

A man has been jailed for 15 years for sexual and violent offences in Aberdeen.

Stephen White, 50, was sentenced on Wednesday, 11 March, 2026, at Aberdeen High Court after being found guilty on Thursday, 12 February, 2026 following a trial.

The offences included serious sexual assault, assault and abduction against three women between 2007 and 2024.

White was also given lifetime non-harassment orders in respect of the victims.

Detective Inspector Gordon Patullo said: “White’s actions were abhorrent and he will now face the consequences of his actions.

"I want to thank the victims who assisted our investigation. Their support was vital in bringing him to justice.

"While nothing can change what they have experienced, I hope this outcome brings them a degree of closure. We remain committed to thoroughly investigating reports of sexual offending and ensuring those responsible are held to account.

"Anyone who is experiencing or has experienced sexual abuse is encouraged to contact Police Scotland or seek support from partner agencies such as Women's Aid or Rape Crisis Scotland."
