A man has been jailed for 14 years for sexual and domestic abuse offences in Aberdeen.

Michael Morrice, 47, was sentenced on Monday, 23 March, 2026, at the High Court in Aberdeen after being found guilty on Wednesday, 25 February, 2026 following a trial.

The offences include serious sexual assault, assault and domestic abuse offences against three women between 2001 and 2023.

Morrice was also given lifetime non-harassment orders in respect of the victims.

Detective Inspector Gordon Patullo said: “Morrice is a callous predator who will now face the consequences of his actions.

"While nothing can change what they have experienced, I hope this outcome brings the victims a degree of closure. We remain committed to thoroughly investigating reports of sexual offending and ensuring those responsible are held to account.

“This case also highlights how time is no barrier for us when investigating sexual crimes. If you have ever been subjected to any such offences, then please come forward and report it. You can be assured of being fully supported by specialist officers and our partner agencies."
