Man arrested and charged for robbery of 12-year-old boy in Coatbridge

A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Coatbridge.

Around 4.30pm on Wednesday, 11 February, 2026, a 12-year-old boy was approached by a man in the West End Park area, threatened and robbed of his electric bike.

The man was due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday, 2 March, 2026.
