Man arrested and charged in connection with death In Kirkmuirhill, Lanarkshire

A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Lanarkshire.

Around 3.30am on Sunday, 1 March, 2026, police received a report a 39-year-old man had died in the Hope Road area of Kirkmuirhill. 

He has been named as Adam Lawson from the local area. 

The 40-year-old man is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 4 March, 2026.
