Man arrested and charged in connection with cannabis cultivation in Peterhead

A man has been arrested and charged after a cannabis cultivation was discovered in Peterhead.

The cultivation, with an estimated value of around £587,250, was found on Sunday, 29 March, 2026, within a building on Narrow Lane.

The 42-year-old man was due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday, 30 March, 2026.

Detective Constable Doug Morrison said: “This seizure underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy.

“Drugs cause misery and we are committed to removing them from our local communities.
