Man arrested and charged following Kilmarnock assault

 

A man has been arrested and charged following a serious assault in Old Street, Kilmarnock.

The incident happened around 9.55pm on Saturday, 28, February, 2026 and a 34-year-old man attended hospital for treatment.

A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged.

He appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, 5 March, 2026.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
