Five men arrested and charged in connection with drugs recovery in Perth
Five men have been arrested and charged after a significant quantity of drugs was recovered in Perth.
On the afternoon of Monday, 16 March, 2026, officers executed a warrant at a premises on Charles Street.
Cocaine with a potential street value of £25,500, around £3,500 worth of cannabis and over £500 of heroin was discovered, alongside more than £2,700 in cash.
The men, aged 19, 21, 26, 34 and 38, are due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 17 March.
Detective Inspector Gary Lamb, Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit North, said: “We are committed to tackling the supply and distribution of drugs. Illegal substances cause misery in our communities, and we want to send a clear message to those involved in serious and organised crime that it will not be tolerated. Our officers work tirelessly to investigate this type of criminality and this seizure is a testament to our determination to prevent criminals from dealing drugs on the streets of Scotland.
