Drugs worth over £55,000 recovered in Tweedbank
A 19-year-old man has been arrested following the recovery of drugs worth £57,060 and a number of weapons in Tweedbank.
Officers acting on intelligence stopped and searched the man outside a property on Tuesday, 17 March, 2026.
Heroin, cocaine and cannabis were recovered along with two bladed weapons, an imitation gun and a three-figure sum of cash.
He is due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 18 March, 2026.
Detective Constable Callum Wood said: “We are determined to protect the public from this harmful criminality by disrupting the sale of illegal substances and preventing them being circulated on our streets.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and action like this is only possible through the continued support of the public.
