Drugs recovered in Kilmacolm

Drugs with an estimated street value of more than £75,000 have been recovered in Kilmacolm.

Around 5pm on Monday, 30 March, 2026, officers from the Inverclyde Priority Policing Team attended at a property on Knockbuckle Avenue and recovered cocaine with an estimated value of £77,000.

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 31 March, 2026.

Sergeant Gary Arthur said: “Drugs are a blight on our community, and we remain committed to disrupting their supply and this was a significant recovery that has been kept from our streets.
