Drugs estimated to be worth around £60,000 recovered in Paisley

Drugs with an estimated value of £60,000 have been recovered from a property in Paisley.

Around 6.10am on Tuesday, 10 March, officers executed a warrant at a property on Wellmeadow Street.

Diamorphine, cocaine and cannabis estimated to be worth up to £60,000 was recovered.

One man, aged 23, was arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court at a later date.

Inspector Lorna McLaren said: “Drugs cause misery in our community, and we remain committed to disrupting their supply.
