Drug recovery - Strichen and Aberdeen
Two men have been arrested in connection with drugs offences following a county lines drug recovery in Strichen and Aberdeen.
On Tuesday, 24 March, 2026 officers searched an addresses in School Park, Strichen and Wellheads Avenue, Aberdeen.
Officers recovered controlled drugs, believed to be heroin and crack cocaine, along with a three-figure sum of cash from the premises in Strichen.
The value of the drugs is estimated to be more than £50,000.
The men, both aged 24, have been charged and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday 25 March 2026.
Detective Constable Matthew McKay said:
"Working alongside other forces, we will continue to target and disrupt drug supply from the North West of England to Aberdeen.
"Illegal drugs cause so much misery and damage to our communities. Our commitment to eradicating our streets of this trade will continue as will making sure those involved are arrested.”
